Janis is currently a team lead for research and early development in the intralogistics industry. Prior to this role, he was a system architect in the automotive industry focusing on connectivity units. Before that he has been a senior researcher at the Communication Networks Institute of TU Dortmund University. He has been the team-lead of the Networked Robotics & Wireless Localization research group, which developed scalable, precise and reliable wireless localization, connected robots and mobile sensor networks.
